ELO Encounter
You may also notice Max on keys, back then we didn't even have a string player! So young Max (only 13 at the time) covered the strings on synthesiser. This year he rejoined the band, now as our percussionist.
Henry Rownes would later replace Simon on Bass, and Dacre Peck would carry on the role of the drummer in the band from late 2017 onward. And of course, many strings have since joined us on stage to complete that ELO sound.
So much has changed in our 10 years on stage, but the soul of ELO Encounter has stayed the same, keeping the light on and bringing the joy of Jeff Lynne's music to life as authentically as possible.
Thank you all for supporting us through the years, and we look forward to playing for many more years to come!
